== Conquering of planets/asteroids ==

A planet/asteroid can only be conquered by the attacker, when he is able to destroy in the orbital battle ***and*** in the ground battle every defending unit within the 6 orbital battle ticks and 6 ground battle ticks. A planet/asteroid is thus successfully defended, if one orbital unit ***or*** one ground unit of the defending party survives after the last orbital battle tick or the last ground battle tick. == Special rule: Homeworld ==

The homeplanet is attackable, but cannot be conquered by an enemy. Nevertheless it is possible to destroy the buildings on that planet and do great damage to the infrastructure. See also fleet orders.
